I am so happy, as after 2 years of being on the council allotment waiting list,
I have finally made it to the top and went to see my new allotment plot today.
The plot is a half plot and measures a total of 3.5 rods, which equates to 9m
by 9.5m giving me a total area of 88.5sqm.
There is plenty of work to do to get the plot laid out how I want it and a
whole load of weeding to do to get the plot ready for planting. Hopefully the
weather will be kind to me over the next few weeks, so that I can crack on and
get the site cleared.
I have already bought some Garlic, Onions, Shallots and Broad Beans, so I need
to get a crack on with the weeding so I can get them planted as soon as
possible.
